Current Jewelry Trends

As Tucson’s top jewelry store and only private jeweler, I’m often asked about trends in the jewelry industry. Here are a few occurring today:

Sustainable and Ethical Jewelry: Consumers are increasingly interested in ethically sourced and sustainable jewelry. This includes the use of recycled metals, conflict-free gemstones, and environmentally friendly production processes.

Customization and Personalization: Customized and personalized jewelry allows individuals to express their unique style. This trend includes personalized engravings, birthstone jewelry, and pieces designed to reflect the wearer's personality.

Vintage and Antique Revival: Vintage-inspired and antique-style jewelry was gaining popularity. People appreciate the timeless elegance and craftsmanship of vintage pieces, and some even opt for actual antique or heirloom jewelry.

Minimalistic Designs: Clean lines, simple shapes, and minimalistic designs were in vogue. Many individuals preferred understated jewelry that could be worn every day and easily paired with different outfits.

Mixed Metals: Combining different metals, such as gold and silver, or incorporating unconventional materials like rose gold, was a trend. Mixing metals adds a dynamic and modern touch to jewelry pieces.

Bold Statements: On the opposite end of the spectrum, bold and statement jewelry pieces were also popular. Large earrings, chunky bracelets, and oversized necklaces made a strong impact, especially in fashion-forward circles.

Layering and Stacking: Layering necklaces and stacking rings or bracelets remained a popular way to create a personalized and dynamic look. Mixing and matching different pieces allowed for versatility in styling.

Innovative Materials: Designers were experimenting with alternative materials, such as acrylic, resin, and unconventional gemstones. These materials provided unique textures and colors to jewelry pieces.

Please think of me, when you or your friends want to buy or sell their jewelry.
